Hosted PBX FAQ
- What is a hosted PBX?
- A hosted PBX is a cloud phone system run for you — IVR, extensions, queues and routing — with no on-premise hardware or maintenance. FireFlo provisions, monitors and maintains it as a managed tenant.
- Can we port our existing numbers?
- Yes. We provide assisted porting for local, national, toll-free and international numbers, and can provision new DIDs alongside.
- Do we need desk phones?
- No. The system works with SIP desk phones, desktop and mobile softphones, and WebRTC in the browser — use any mix your team prefers.
- Can it record and report on calls?
- Yes. On-demand or always-on recording with retention controls, plus live dashboards, wallboards and call detail records.
- Is it hosted or do we run it ourselves?
- Fully hosted. FireFlo runs the PBX on geo-redundant infrastructure with monitored SLAs — there is nothing for you to install or maintain.
